Obstetrics

At Antelope Memorial Hospital and AMH Family Practice Clinics, we are pleased to provide a shared care model for prenatal and obstetric care. This pairs the convenience of having most prenatal appointments at AMH Family Practice Clinics with the expertise of an OB/GYN specialist for delivery.

You’ll be able to choose an OB/GYN physician from any of the groups in Norfolk. They include Dr. Vrbicky Sr. or Jr. of Midwest Health Partners, Dr. Jim or Renee Albin of Women’s Health or Dr. Stines, Dr. Laudenklos or Dr. Mirch of Faith Regional Physician Services OB/GYN.

Initially, your prenatal appointments will take place at one of the AMH Family Practice Clinics every four weeks until 28 weeks and every two weeks from 28 - 34 weeks. Appointments with your OB/GYN physician will include an “anatomy scan” ultrasound at 20 weeks and weekly visits beginning at 36 weeks until your baby’s delivery at Faith Regional Health Services. When you return home after delivery, AMH Family Practice Clinics will resume providing care for you and your baby - close to your home. We look forward to serving you and your growing family for many years to come!
