Laboratory

The AMH Laboratory provides full-service coverage 24 hours a day, seven days a week. It is a certified Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendment (CLIA) Laboratory composed of professionals that are nationally certified by the American Society of Certified Pathologists (ASCP). The laboratory is directed by a board-certified pathologist and participates in an extensive proficiency testing program. They take pride in accepting patient orders from any physician's office to accommodate all of their patients' needs close-to-home. The laboratory also provides services for AMH's satellite clinics, Arbor Care Center (Neligh) and the Willows Assisted Living (Neligh).

Newborn Screening (sent to Perkin Elmer in Bridgeville, PA)
All other lab tests not offered at AMH are sent to AMH's reference lab (UNMC Regional Pathology Services in Omaha)

Recipient of the Excellence in Newborn Screening Award for participating in the Nebraska Newborn Screening Programs' Quality Improvement Initiative in 2020.
